During each Advent Season, we collect and distribute groceries to area elementary school children who will not have school-provided lunches over the Christmas holiday break. Last year, we were able to provide over 500 bags to children throughout the Waterloo community, and this year we hope to provide 700! Click here to donate online to this project!
Volunteers with other parish committees and other parishes or groups in the city to sponsor speakers, organize programs and distribute literature which help explain and promote the Catholic Church's teaching on social justice. You can help by volunteering to serve on an education and formation subcommittee or by helping coordinate specific programs or projects. Collects and distributes food, clothing, household items and money to those in need. Volunteers visit the needy to assess immediate needs and provide emergency assistance with the support of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Please contact Gary Vent at 319.610.5064.
