Our Parish Feast Day of Corpus Christi is June 10-11! Please save the date and plan to attend Mass where we will have Eucharistic Adoration following Saturday's 4:30 pm Mass and before Sunday's 8:30 Mass. We will have a Eucharistic Procession following the 10:30 am Mass and then we round out our Parish Feast Day with a COOKOUT in the parking lot (weather permitting) or Parish Center. We will also use this time to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of our Parish, so PLEASE JOIN US!

Don't forget that St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry is still the FOURTH WEEKEND OF EACH MONTH! Items can also be dropped off any day of the week during regular office hours for the SVdP Food Pantry. St. Vincent de Paul is looking to add several volunteers to strengthen our ability to help the needy in our community. Opportunities vary from interviewing clients for financial assistance or making up food boxes to sorting and sizing clothes or organizational management. Normal requirements are for up to three (3) hours, one day per week, between 9am and Noon. We are an all-volunteer organization and have need of people with every type of talent! Participation in one of the many liturgical ministries is such a powerful witness to the dignity of all baptized Catholics. We continually need people to share in these sacred roles. Volunteers will be trained and provided guidelines and background information. We need more altar servers (youth and adult), ushers, eucharistic ministers, sacristans, and camera operators for livestream (great for high school kids). Want to be more behind-the-scenes? If you have an eye for decorating or a green thumb, our church environment (decorating) group is always looking for more help. Is this your first time back to Mass in a while, or have you been coming to Blessed Sacrament for some time now, but have not yet registered with the Parish? We need more altar servers! We recently conducted altar server training and are very thankful for those who have begun to serve again; however, we are in need of more servers, especially at our 4:30pm Mass. Remember, altar server training is for anyone from 4th grade up to 100 years of age! It is a great opportunity for adult friends to work together, or parents and children to serve together -- Moms/Sons, Fathers/Daughters, Moms/Daughters, or Fathers/Sons. Volunteers are needed for the Funeral Ministry. We need volunteers to be sacristans at funerals. We also have a need for help with the funeral dinners. Think about the people, organizations, and charities that are the most meaningful to you. Make sure your will is written so your intentions are clearly spelled out. Make sure your loved ones also know about these intentions. We pray that you consider Blessed Sacrament in your estate planning. Prayer Cards and Envelopes are available in the Votive Candle Space. If there is someone special in your life whom you are remembering in your prayers at Mass or by lighting a candle, let them know by sending them a prayer card. Cards are available for a free-will donation. Simply take a card and envelope from the votive candle box and place your free-will donation in the donation envelope. This is a grat way to share your love and concern for those you are praying for.

Just a reminder, there is handicap seating in the front of the church that is easily accessible on the St. Joseph side of the Sanctuary. Please use the handicap entrance between the church and the Anne K. Sulentic Parish Center; it is a short distance to walk and there is plenty of parking. Please remember, handicap seating in the front and back of the church is reserved for the handicapped and disabled. If you are neither, please sit in a pew. Thank You!
